Faith Regen Foundation has pledged to raise £5,000 to help the Horn of Africa

The Horn of Africa is now facing what could possibly be the worst humanitarian crisis in over half a century. The devastation of the drought has reached an estimated 12 million across the region, with Somalia being the worst affected. Lack of rainfall and harsh weather conditions have contributed towards failed harvests and the death of livestock, shattering the livelihoods of the mainly pastoral communities of Somalia.

The East Africa Drought Appeal has been launched by Faith Regen Foundation and Global One 2015 to raise awareness of the severity of the food crisis amongst our partners, colleagues and beneficiaries. All funds raised will be donated to support the efforts of the Somali Relief and Development Forum and Islamic Help who are actively working on the ground to save lives.
