Health Navigator
FRF's Health Navigator is a touch screen information system which provides public health information for faith communities. The Navigators have the capacity to provide information in the eight languages of: English, Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Somali, Turkish and Urdu.
The Navigator aims:
To help people make informed choices about their health and healthcare which are compatible with their faith and cultural background.
To support socially excluded and economically disadvantaged people in exercising choice.
To meet the religious, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and support partnership working with the NHS.
