FRF Services:

Faith Communities Navigator is available to those wishing to know more about the lives, beliefs and values of the UK’s diverse faith communities. Developed exclusively by the Faith Regen Foundation, The Faith Communities Navigator (FCN) is likely to prove an invaluable set of tools, at your fingertips. The Navigator builds upon the Foundation’s previously well received work in this area on behalf of third sector, UK Government and commercial clients.

In today’s increasingly diverse environment, the need for sensitivity towards the beliefs and values of clients, customers and even staff has become ever more important and the challenges of getting this right have become increasingly complicated.

Faith Regen Foundation aims to allow you to be able to navigate your way through the rich and diverse patchwork that is represented by the UK’s faith communities. The Navigator is a set of tools, information, maps, charts, facts and comments, designed to illuminate your journey towards understanding and appreciation.

This training programme is complemented by a 175 page, full colour book published especially for those who have been through the training programme. This beautifully presented guide is a detailed piece of research which discusses the nine main faiths found in the UK, presenting them in an accessible and easy to read format.

Workplacement.com

workplacementuk.com, the job brokerage arm of Faith Regen Foundation which combines on-the-job training with job brokerage.
FRF works very closely with local, and national employers and provides a job brokerage service through work placements.  By helping jobseekers to develop and match their skills with the business needs of the employer, we have experienced great success in placing clients into employment. Experienced job search tutors research vacancies in the local labour market, and will use our well-established links with local employers to organise work experience placements, work trials, interviews and job placements. We have a wide network of contacts to provide employment opportunities in the hospitality sector.
The main aim of this provision is to strengthen the support available to jobless people from an ethnic minority background who may need help to make the transition into employment as well as raise the employment rates of ethnic minority communities.

We have developed a number of training materials alongside employers needs and have gained feedback on its effectiveness for the role. We consult regularly with local employers and Jobcentre Plus offices about jobs, placements and potential future employers moving into the area.

The proposed work placement complemented by employability skills training activity includes a 12 weeks course designed to move job-seekers into sustained employment through a structured programme of Induction, Training Work Placement and on-the-job Mentoring Support.
